With our AutoResponder service you can minimise the need to manually reply to every inbound message by programming a set of automatic responses triggered by keywords. The response sent by AutoResponder can be a simple acknowledgement or a message containing a link to product information or a longer Concatenated SMS text message.
Automate responses to requests for product information
The AutoResponder service can send a reply to the inbound messages you receive using one of our Two-way SMS services.
The response it sends depends on the keyword(s) in the incoming message. For example, an incoming message with the keywords "PROPERTY GU38NA" will trigger a different automatic response to the keywords "PROPERTY E149RP".
AutoResponder can help you to reduce the overhead of manually responding to frequent requests for the same product information.
When should I use an AutoResponder?
AutoResponder is an ideal solution for delivering the latest travel updates, information about a house for sale, details about where a film is showing, sending the latest football results, or simply acknowledging a vote in a contest.
What type of messages can AutoResponder send?
The response sent by AutoResponder can be short plain text acknowledgement, a message containing a link to product information, or a longer Concatenated SMS text message.
How much does the AutoResponder service cost?

Are there other ways to reply to inbound messages?
If you don't need keyword-based responses and just want to use a standard reply, we recommend that you set a default Automatic Reply. This can be configured in the Two-Way Automatic Reply Section of your Account Centre.
