From December 2004 US Network Operators are making fundamental
changes in their requirements for handling SMS messages
and Premium Rate services. All messages must be sent with
a Short Code and it is no longer possible to use an Originator Address that is not a Short code.

- Short code charges are for 5 digit codes obtained
from US short code registry. Costs for unique network
specific codes are additional. Please contact your

Notes: Verizon
- Verizon requires “double confirmation” from
end-users. This means that you need to send out a
non-premium confirmation message, after you have received
the initial MO request, to ask the
end-user to confirm that they want the requested service.
When you receive
the second MO message, you are allowed to bill the
end-user.
- Verizon charges their end-users $0.02 per received
non-premium MT message.
- Verizon charges $0.02 in
addition to the premium message charge for PSMS messages.

Notes: Pending availability
- Sprint and T-Mobile payouts are pending launch
- No commercial decision has been made by Sprint
whether binaries (specifically ringtones and wallpapers)
will be supported on premium SMS and associated payouts.

Notes: General
- Pricing is valid for 30 days, E&OE.
- 3 months lease charges are payable in advance.
- Setup Charge and 1 month service charges are payable
in advance.
- Payment to the customer is within 14 days from
collection of funds from Network Operators.
- Outpayments will be made in Sterling GBP.
- In the event that the Network Operator is unable
to collect funds from a mobile subscriber no payment
will be due to the customer.

Glossary
- MO = Mobile Originated, a message sent from a mobile
phone.
- MT = Mobile Terminated, a message sent to a mobile
phone.
- PSMS = Premium SMS, an SMS message
sent to or from a mobile phone that is charged at
a higher rate than a
normal SMS message.
- E&OE = Errors and Omissions
Excepted, means "unless
someone made a mistake".
