| Single interface to learn |
A single system to send messages to users on any Paging
Service and any Mobile Phone SMS Service – provided, of
course, that you have appropriate accounts and the operator
accepts direct input. Lower Total Cost of Ownership |
| Address Books |
Three types of Address Books are provided: User, Department
and Corporate. Users
can read their own, their Department’s and the Corporate
Address Book. Department
Managers can edit their Department’s Address Book. Etc. |
| Import / export |
All address books can be exported to and imported from
CSV files. |
| Groups |
Groups can be defined so that, for example, "sales"
can be reached as a group. |
| Rotas |
If a Rota is sent a message, then the actual destination
will depend on the time of
day and the day of the week. Great for reaching the right
Support staff. |
| Reply Requested |
A user can mark a message "Reply Requested".
If the message is destined for a
pager it will be sent repeatedly until the recipient responds
by sending an
"acknowledgement" message or a timeout is reached.
In either case the sender will
be told whether or not the message has been acknowledged.
No more "I must have
missed the message when I was indoors" – the message
will get through! And the
logs will show when the message was sent and when it was
acknowledged. |
| Infolink Receiver |
To use "Reply Requested" a Receiver is connected
to the Server so that reply
messages can be sent directly to the Server. This Receiver
can also be used to
supply License Upgrades. In this case there is no need
to enter, or remember, your
new License Key when you upgrade to support more users. |
| Message Sent Alert |
Users can be informed when their message has been sent. |
| Logging |
Users can see a log of their messages. The System Manager
has a full log of all
messages. |
| Max Character |
The maximum message length for each recipient is known
and indicated when
entering a massage. The user knows when a message is full. |
| Message Split |
Messages that are too long to send as one message,
will be automatically split and
sent as multiple messages. |
| Signature |
Each user can set an individual Signature and append
it to all or any message they
send. |
| Drop Directory |
Files "dropped" into a shared directory will
be automatically sent as if they had been
manually entered. This enables other applications to send
messages to Users,
Groups or Rotas. The Drop File Format is given here. |
| Multiple Providers |
The system can be configured to support many Service
Providers. |
| Multiple Protocols |
Messages can be sent using TAP and/or SNPP which gives
access to virtually all
Paging and Mobile Phone SMS providers. |
| Multiple Routes |
Each provider can have three routes defined. Connection
over Dial-up, Leased Line
and TCP.IP (Internet) are fully supported. |
| Multiple Networks |
Operates over TCP/IP and IPX/SPX networks. The client
software will usually be
able to find the server and auto configure itself – provided
the System Manager has
allowed the user access. |
| Standard platforms |
Windows 95, Windows 98 and Windows NT. |
| Security |
The System Manager can instantly enable and disable
users and Service Providers.
Drop File access can be controlled with normal System
access lists or passwords.
Extensive logging provides full audit. |
| Licensing |
Flexible licensing for various numbers of users. |
| Evaluation |
A single User, 30 day evaluation version can be downloaded
from the website. To
upgrade just enter your new License Key. |
